Last verified: October 27, 2026. This page tracks the release window against official sources — updates land within 48 hours of announcements.
The short answer: World of Anterra targets a 2026 release on PC via Steam, with no confirmed day or month. The Steam page (app 2402470) carries the 2026 window and the wishlist button; recent press coverage (NicheGamer, October 2026) reaffirms the target.
The Platforms Question
The most-searched cluster around this game is platforms — here is the confirmed state:
- PC / Steam: confirmed, the launch platform (app 2402470)
- Nintendo Switch: planned — the Switch version was confirmed during the 2022 Kickstarter campaign (CA$397,766 from 5,957 backers)
- PS5 / Xbox: no confirmed plans announced
- Mac: the Kickstarter listed Mac alongside PC; current status tracks with the Steam PC focus
Platform variants people search (switch 2, ps5 release date, xbox release date) all collapse into one honest answer: PC 2026; everything else is announced-or-nothing — and this page updates as each platform locks.
Price and System Requirements
No price announced. System requirements are not published on Steam yet — the alpha demo is the practical performance test on your machine.
The Wishlists Milestone
On August 24, 2026, the team announced 150,000 Steam wishlists — a launch-scale number for an indie RPG and the reason the release window feels real. Wishlist it yourself (app 2402470) to catch the launch notification.
Release Date History
The project's dates have moved before: originally announced around 2022 with a July 2023 target, delayed through development, now 2026. Crowdfunded RPGs slip; this page keeps the current truth and the history as it happens.
